Wyandotte’s Brady Lofland – Football Spotlight – Presented by Trench Brothers Graphics

Brady Lofland

Wyandotte High School

Starting wide receiver for the Wyandotte Savages, Brady Lofland is excited to welcome in new coaches and new players to the program this year. Lofland, who is in his final season of prep football, is looking forward to helping lead the team to a successful season.

“I’m most excited about our coaching staff and getting some new kids to move in that are going to help the team out tremendously, we look way better already,” said Lofland.

Football has always been the sport of choice for Lofland, who is considering playing at the next level.

“Football has always been my main sport, but I enjoy playing all sports,” said Lofland. “I haven’t really made my full decision yet on what I want do after high school, if I had the opportunity to play somewhere after school, I would take it.”

For the senior, it’s the competition and pushing himself and his teammates that he loves most about the game.

“What I enjoy the most would be the intensity on the field,” said Lofland. “We have some great players to watch this season. Like Hunter White at quarterback, Mason Brown at receiver, Dawson White at receiver, and running back Evan Brown. All DAWGS!”

But being a student-athlete is as much about being a student and for Lofland, he has his favorites there as well.

“Wyandotte’s a great place to be a student-athlete because we got good coaches to learn from. My favorite subject is history. It’s cool learning all the history. My favorite teacher would be coach Ed, he’s a great dude and great teacher,” said Lofland.
Lofland is a member of the FFA chapter as well. But the senior said he is dedicating himself to having his best year of high school football this season. “I’m most excited about the fact that this group I get to play with this year looks way better, and they’re excited to go and try to win. I would like our class to be remembered by how even when we weren’t winning, we still showed up for practice every day and did everything we could to go try to win from the past years,” said Lofland.
