Kylee Herndon
Ketchum High School
Ketchum High School senior Kylee Herndon is a member of the varsity basketball team and a player known for her passion for the sport. Herndon said being a varsity player means a lot to her and representing Ketchum High School is special.
“I love how the younger kids look up to us,” said Herndon. “We are a small team, but we are mighty.”
The senior said she is willing to do whatever it takes to help her team win and she continues to work on her game.
“I will pretty much play wherever coach puts me,” said Herndon. “I would say I’ve improved most in dribbling and attacking the glass.”
As for the team, the season has had its challenges, but they are still working hard and putting forth the best effort possible.
“We’ve had lots of up and downs but overall, it’s been good,” said Herndon. “Our goal is to win more games.”
In the classroom, Herndon said she enjoys all of her classes and doesn’t really have a favorite, but there is someone at school she enjoys seeing every day.
“I don’t really have a favorite subject and my favorite person is our receptionist Mrs. Julie,” said Herndon.
Herndon said once she is done with high school, she would like to return to tech school and complete the LPN program. In her free time, Herndon said she enjoys spending time with her family.
