VYPE: Addison, what grade are you in and what position do you play?
Osborn: I am in the eleventh grade, and I play as a guard.
VYPE: How has the season been so far?
Osborn: Our team’s season so far has drastically improved from the previous year. We have all grown personally and together we have been able to work as a team and truly improve our games. The goal for the rest of the season is to improve our teamwork amongst each other as well as improve on my personal skills, such as shooting and more offensive skills.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
Osborn: What I love most about my teammates is the endless amount of time we spend together which allows us all to become unbelievably close with each other, they have become a second family to me.
VYPE: What part of your gaming is improving?
Osborn: Personally I believe that my game is improving with my shooting. My shooting has improved over the years, however I know I can keep improving with consistent work and effort.VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Vinita HS?
Osborn: I love being an athlete at Vinita HS because of the close friendships it brings with people you would never expect.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
Osborn: Asides from being associated with athletics in the school, I am also associated with other clubs. Outside of sports, I am a part of Student council and National Honors Society president elect.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
Osborn: My favorite subject by far is math, I have always found this subject to push me to be my best. Along with this subject being my favorite, I’ve had an amazing teacher through almost all high school. Mrs. Sooter has shown me how to push myself further than I could have ever imagined and has sparked my personal interest in mathematics.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Osborn: After I graduate, I plan to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a degree in either the medical field or in mathematics, still undecided.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Osborn: With my free time I like to hang around my house with the family, as well as attend a local bible study every week.
