Jace Fent

Wyandotte High School

VYPE: Jace, what grade are you in this year and what position do you play on the Wyandotte basketball team?

Fent: I am a junior, and I am a guard on the basketball team.

VYPE: What’s been your favorite moment this season?

Fent: My favorite moment so far this season was beating Colcord.

VYPE: Where have you seen the most improvement in your game this year?

Fent: I have improved my leadership role for my team and my ability to communicate with my teammates both on and off the court.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

Fent: My teammates are all around good guys, are always willing to listen to suggestions and want to do what is best for the team. Most of my teammates are super young so they bring extra energy to practice that you may not get from older guys.

VYPE: What does it mean to you to be a student-athlete and represent Wyandotte HS?

Fent: What I love most about being a student-athlete at Wyandotte is the environment where everyone knows each other and supports one another.

VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?

Fent: I am in the FFA, Student Council, National Honor Society, basketball, and baseball.

VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school, and do you have a favorite teacher?

Fent: My favorite subject in school is history and my favorite teacher is coach Posey.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

Fent: After I graduate, I plan on going to college but I’m not sure what college or what I will major in.

VYPE: When you have some free time, how do you like to spend it? Fent: In my free time I like to spend time with my family, play sports and show pigs.
