9 Questions with Ketchum’s Ashtyn Warford Presented by Trench Brothers Graphics

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Ashtyn: I am a sophomore at Ketchum High School and I play basketball, fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball, and I run cross country and track.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Ashtyn: My favorite part of being on a team is traveling to games together.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Ashtyn: I’m passionate about basketball because it’s all I’ve ever known and I love it. I grew up watching my brother play and my dad coach so basketball has always been a big part of my life.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Ashtyn: My favorite part about playing and representing my high school is making everyone from my school proud and showing them what our school is made of.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Ashtyn: My favorite memory of playing basketball was when I scored my career high of 36 points against Welch.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Ashtyn: My all time favorite meal is three big plates full of my Mimi Millie’s mac and cheese

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Ashtyn:If I could go anywhere for a summer vacation I would go to the Bahamas or anywhere with a beach and I would take my family with me.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Ashtyn: I am involved in student council, and I was recently inducted to the National Honor Society.

Ashtyn: I would like to shout out to my Mom and Dad, my Mimi Millie, my brother Christian, my sister-in-law Khailey, and my niece Parker for always coming to my games to support me.
