Q & A with Grove’s Trevor Praytor Presented by Trench Brothers Graphics

Trevor Praytor

Grove High School

VYPE: Trevor, what your favorite course to play?

Praytor: My favorite course that I have played would have to be, “The Club at Forest Ridge” in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

VYPE: What grade are you in this year and how long have you played golf?

Praytor: I am a sophomore at GHS, and I have been playing golf competitively for about two years now.

VYPE: How has the team performed this season?

Praytor: The team is looking like it is going to have a lot of potential for the future. All we have to do is help each other and everybody will contribute to improve.

VYPE: What about your teammates? Describe them for me.

Praytor: What I love most about my teammates is the way that they are always ready to get better and will take advice from me and the rest of the players on our team.

VYPE: What’s the best round you’ve shot and where was it?

Praytor: My best round is a 73 and I shot it at Shangri-la Country Club in Afton, Oklahoma.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

Praytor: After high school I would love to be a professional golfer and play on the LIV Tour. If that does not work out, then I would love to get into real estate and become a Real Estate Agent.

VYPE: What part of your game have you improved the most this season?

Praytor: In the time that I have played golf I have worked the hardest to improve my mental game and choosing the right shot to hit from anywhere on the course.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Praytor: In my free time I love to hang out with my family and play lots of basketball with some players from the GHS basketball team.

VYPE: What makes being a student-athlete at GHS special for you?

Praytor: The thing I love most about being a student at Grove High School is the way that I can be comfortable with almost all of the teachers. The teachers also love to help people out and make them smarter and more hardworking.
