9 Questions with Grove’s Emalee Gregg Presented by Mark Lee Shelter Grove

Emalee Gregg

Grove High School

VYPE: Emalee, how long have you played soccer?

Gregg: This is my third year playing soccer. Ever!

VYPE: During those three years what’s been your favorite memory competing with your team?

Gregg: My favorite memory as a Grove athlete is getting to play one season of soccer when I was a freshman with my sister Baylee, who was a senior, and our team made it to the second round of playoffs, which was the furthest any Grove girls’ soccer has ever gone.

VYPE: What grade are you in this year?

Gregg: I am a junior this season.

VYPE: Why is Grove High School a special place for you?

Gregg: The thing I love most about Grove High School is that I get to compete, but also have fun with my team.

VYPE: What about those teammates of yours, what makes this group great?

Gregg: I love that my teammates are always encouraging, and they give great advice.

VYPE: What other activities are you involved in at GHS?

Gregg: I am a part of National Honor Society, a Junior Representative for the Heritage Club, Character Counts, Student Representative for the Safety Committee, Interact Club, Student Council, and Math Club.

VYPE: What are your plans for this summer?

Gregg: I am taking a school sponsored trip to Europe this summer.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?

Gregg: I am planning on attending Oklahoma State University after I graduate.

VYPE: When you’re not competing or involved in a club activity, what can we find you doing? Gregg: I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing with my dogs, and playing pickleball.
