VYPE: What grade are you in this year and how long have you been playing softball?

Ella: I am in 10th grade and have been playing for 10 years.

VYPE: What makes being a student athlete at Jay so special to you?

Ella: Playing with the girls that I have grown up with.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite place to play softball and if so, why?

Ella: My favorite place to play is at our home field because more friends and family are able to come watch us.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?

Ella: My biggest influence in my life has been my mom. She has shown me a great example of the person I want to be when I am older.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?

Ella: I plan to go to college and study animal science.

VYPE: What clubs or groups are you involved in at school?

Ella: StuCo, Science Club, Fellowship of Christian Students, FFA, Softball, basketball, and track.

VYPE: Who is the loudest teammate in the dugout?

Ella: Kyler Howe

VYPE: What position do you play and what position would you like to play?

Ella: Right field and I would like to play any outfield position.

VYPE: What is your thought process at the plate?

Ella: I just focus on delivering what my coach asks of me.
