Jay’s State Qualifier, Remington Bonebrake – Presented by Rib Crib

Jay High School has continued to develop a wrestling program that consistently places wrestlers in tournaments. Known for their toughness and high-level wrestling, students like Remington Bonebrake are making names for themselves on the mat.

This season Bonebrake was a state qualifier, a proud moment after years of work on the mat.

“My proudest moment was becoming a state qualifier this year,” Bonebrake said. “The support from the parents, coaches and fans means a lot.”

Bonebrake said his best skill is getting off bottom as he’s continued to work to improve in all areas of his wrestling. To mentally prepare himself for a match, Bonebrake said he does what a lot of his teammates and opponents do, turn on the music.

“I like to Listen to music in the locker room,” said Bonebrake. Now entering baseball season, Bonebrake said what makes JHS a great place to be a student-athlete are the people. He hopes to one day attend college once his time is up at Jay High School.
