KETCHUM WARRIORS
Coach: TANNER BROWN

4-6

OFFENSE

As Ketchum enters into the new A-II classification with a nucleus of returning starters who are ready to make a run at the playoffs. “We are a fast and physical team. We lack size and make up for it with athleticism. We have a good mix of upper and lower classmen, and we expect to be competitive with everyone we play,” said coach Brown. Quarterback Justin Johnson (5-10, 165, Sr.) is back bringing his athleticism to both sides of the ball. Called the “heart and soul” of the team, Johnson has the potential to put together an All-State type of season. The running game is the bread and butter of the offense. A trio of backs make it happen for the Warriors. Logan Beisley (5-11, 180, So.), Landon Beisley (5-11, 180, Sr.), and Hunter Carriger (5-7, 150, Jr.) create the three-headed monster that is the Warriors run game. With an offensive line that features Kaden Braden (6-0, 210, Sr.) at right tackle and Waylon Carriger (5-11, 200, Sr.) at right guard, the Warriors are poised for a big year on the ground. Braden brings a high football IQ to the field and is one of the hardest workers on the team.

DEFENSE

Six starters return to the lineup on defense with several players going both ways. Johnson starts in the secondary where he has 17 career INTs and looking for more. CJ Weeks (6-0, 160, Sr.) will join Johnson in the secondary giving the Warriors two ballhawks on the back end. Braden starts at defensive end with Wyatt Sopha (5-11, 200, Jr.) starting at tackle. When these two get fired up the opposing offensive line will have issues containing both of them. That will give Waylon Carriger the opportunity to make plays from his OLB spot. Landon Beisley is another sideline-to-sideline linebacker who plays fast and physical football. Gracian Jones (Fr.) is a newcomer to the team, but coach Brown said he was unstoppable in junior high and comes in with high expectations. Another player to watch is Blaine Walker who is always willing to step in and play wherever his team needs him. Blain Tran has started the last two seasons and will be counted on for more big plays this season. The coaching staff includes Jimmy Dushane, Cecil Weeks, and Shane Francis.
