To help lead my team to a winning season and be the best player I can be by time playoffs come around.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
My favorite memory in the last year involving the school was probably prom my junior year. It was such a fun night and I like to dance a little bit so dancing with friends was definitely up there for one of the best memories.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
One of my favorite teachers was my 1st grade teacher Mrs.Barker. from a young age she made school exciting and encouraged me to be the best I could. She also gave lots of good snacks.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My Favorite athletic memory is being selected all conference my junior year.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Garrett Walls. Growing up playing with him has been one of the best memories I have had. He is such a great friend on and off the court and I can always count on him to be one of the first people to hype me up after a big play or get me locked in for a big game.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about this team is that win or lose we always have each other’s back. Having good friends around you on the court is super important and the guys I’m surrounded by are super supportive. The coaching staff is also amazing. They have taught me so much and are there for me and my teammates at any given moment.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would probably go anywhere that has a beach. I’m all about the sun, sand and water. I’m not the type to sit around though. I like to be active all the time. I would take my family with me so my dad could pay for all the expenses.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
A new pair of Kobes. Always gotta look fresh on the court.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
Anything I can get involved in that helps my church I try to do what I can. I play drums for the worship team, lead bible studies every once in a while and help teach the younger classes on Sunday mornings. My youth group also makes around 150 PB&J’s every month to pass to the homeless in the Joplin area and I love to do my part in that.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I spend most of my time in athletics ,at church, eating or sleeping. I don’t have a lot of extra down time for clubs after school.
VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
I’m a member of STUCO and do my best volunteering my extra time for any events we are putting on in the school. I do get a little crazy when it comes time for the game day pep rallies that STUCO puts on.
