VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Cruz: Micah Parsons because he always just has that competitive spirit in him.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Cruz: I would say Mrs. Orler. She is my high school science teacher.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Cruz: Thanksgiving dinner to be honest.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Cruz: I would go to the Great Lakes. I just love Michigan and that surrounding area. I would also go by myself most likely.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Cruz: I don’t really have just one inspiration I just have a combination of people from family and friends that inspires me.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Cruz: I didn’t play middle school football but my freshman year my teammate Ethan talked me into and got me to join the team.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Cruz: I love being an athlete especially for football because it can set the tone for the whole school year.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Cruz: I am passionate about football because it has just been a big part of my life and has just made me a better person overall.
