KETCHUM WARRIORS

Coach: SAM BANKER

2024-25 Record: 18-10

OUTLOOK

Graduation has taken its toll on the Warriors basketball team, but head coach Sam Banker believes the team is coming together with some fresh faces and players in new roles.

“We lost several key players from last year’s team, but we are very excited about the new faces we have that are going to get playing time for us this year. We are young and in-experienced but very athletic and hard-working. I think we’ll get better and better as the season goes along,” coach Banker said.

The returning leading scorer is back in Adam Banker (5-8, Jr.) who averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Banker is a quick guard who can shoot from the perimeter or drive to the rim. Another guard to watch is Logan Beisley (5-10, Jr.) who makes his return after averaging 4.1 points per game. The combo will need to produce more of the scoring for the Warriors, but also look for Gracian Jones (6-2, So.) who averaged 5.3 points and 5.8 rebounds as a freshman. Jones is capable of having big games on any given night.

Also look for David McGimpsey (5-11, So.) at guard, Cooper Chandler (5-10, So.) at guard, Konner Beckham (6-4, Sr.) at forward, Keegan Johnston (5-11, Jr.) at guard, Cooper Austin (5-10, Sr.) at guard, Lucas White (5-11, Jr.) at forward and Kamdyn Randall (5-9, Fr.) at guard.
