OUTLOOK
As head coach Savannah Brown enters the new season, there are a few questions surrounding the program and how the team shapes up this season. One thing is certain, the team will be young and looking to improve with every outing.
One senior is back for the Lady Warriors in Alexis Currie (5-8). Currie brings experience and leadership to the court for coach Brown. Her play will help set the tone for the team and give the younger players someone to look up to. Same can be said for McKynzi Brown (5-9, Jr.). Brown is the only junior on the roster and a versatile player the team will count on for quality minutes again this season.
Several sophomores are on the roster this season and will play important roles on the team this season. Bree Shofler (5-4, So.), Keira Bethel (5-5, So.), Kyla Diebold (5-4, So.), Josie Bogle (5-5, So.) and Teegan McKibben (5-8, So.) are poised to be contributors this season.
Also look for a salty class of freshmen making their way to the varsity team this season. That group includes Rebecca Shofler (5-10, Fr.), Abby Vaughn (5-9, Fr.), and Erin Delp (5-6, Fr.).
