Defensively, coaches frequently trust him with the responsibility of shutting down half the field, a challenge he consistently handles well. His ability to impact the game in every phase makes him one of Ketchum’s most valuable players.
Trevor Henry – Miami
Versatility is one of Trevor Henry’s greatest strengths for Miami, where he contributes as a cornerback, wing/slot receiver, and both a kick and punt returner. A highly competitive and hard-working athlete, Henry combines quickness, agility, and outstanding ball skills to impact the game in multiple ways. Whether making difficult catches offensively or tracking the ball as a defensive back, he consistently finds ways to make plays. His speed and vision also make him dangerous in the return game, capable of flipping momentum and field position. Off the field, Henry leads by example and through encouragement, while balancing football, baseball, track, and even showing steers at county and state fairs.
Thomas Ashworth – Welch
Dependability and toughness have made Thomas Ashworth a key figure in Welch’s success. Entering his fourth year as a starter in the trenches on both sides of the ball, Ashworth has served as a steady presence throughout his high school career. He brings relentless effort and passion to every snap, competing with a level of intensity coaches value. His physical style of play and leadership up front continue to make him a cornerstone of the program.
