The fans have spoken and after weeks of online polls, you the fans have selected your Fan’s Choice Team for the 2026 high school football season.
OFFENSE
QB – Keegan Johnston – Ketchum
It’s easy to see why Keegan Johnston is the Fan’s Choice at quarterback. Last season he threw for 1,400 pass yards and 18 touchdowns while rushing for 800 and scoring seven TDs. Expect a big year from the senior in his final year of prep football.
RB – Colton Moss – Welch
Colton is the president of our FFA. He has battled injuries since his sophomore year but had a great start to his junior year campaign. He started on both sides of the ball while balancing his FFA duties. Welch is looking forward to getting a healthy Colton back on the field for his senior year.
WR/TE – Hunter Marlow – Welch
Hunter Marlow is a 6-foot, 155-pound wide receiver in his senior season for Welch. Marlow is an exciting player to watch thanks to his route running and ability to make the tough catch. Marlow will help Welch in many ways this season.
OL – Jett Johnson – Commerce
Jett has great size and great feet. At 6-foot-3 and 275-pounds, Johnson moves very well. He will be a staple on the line for the Tigers. He is always working and puts in a lot of time to make himself better. “We expect Jett to be a great player for us the next 3 years,” said coach Cawyer.
DEFENSE
DL – Seth Bonham – Commerce
Seth is a great kid. Makes great grades and is a very hard worker. He is going to be a senior and has been a leader on and off the field for the past couple of years. He is someone the younger kids look up too.
LB – Colton Moss – Welch
Moss makes his second appearance on the Fan’s Choice Team thanks to his ability to be an effective two-way player. His understanding of offensive schemes and football instincts are just two reasons why Moss is firmly planted on both sides of the ball.
DB – James Stonebarger – Vinita
The Hornets defensive back has the size to play linebacker but is a natural in the secondary. At 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, the senior is everything you want patrolling the field.
