OUTLOOK
As coach Bob Coffey and assistant coaches Paige Siegrist and Maggie Smith prepare for the upcoming season, the Lady Wildcats are learning a new system and preparing for a tough schedule ahead.
“We have a positive outlook regarding the upcoming season. This group of student-athletes appears ready to grow, learn, and compete. “GROW, LEARN, COMPETE” is the motto for our program model and staying true to those three things is the sole focus of our inaugural season together as players and coaches,” said coach Coffey. “Our team features a handful of returning players that saw varsity action last season, several newcomers, and a new coaching staff. Maintaining high preparation expectations while elevating our skill level will be the key to us experiencing a successful season.”
A large group of juniors will lead the way with solo senior Nettie Sherwood. The group of juniors includes Miley Attocknie, Kate Boman, Jaycee Clouse, Lexie Daniels, and Johnna Hutchens.
Sophomore Kailey Sharpe is expected to contribute this season as well. Freshmen Bailey Slaton and Nakada Stand are two newcomers who are going to provide some depth to the roster and grow into players the coaching staff can look to for good minutes on the floor.
